There was never going to be many taker’s for a Thursday canter across the Glyders, last time I was here C4UK wasn’t thought of and Andy, Mahesh , Charlotte and Ben were with us… in the snow!
None of that this time.
Beautiful lakeside camping (broke a pole) and a misty clamber across Glyder Fach (994m), Glyder Fawr (996m), then onto Y Garn (997m), finishing with an exhausting trudge up Foel Goch (834m). Descent via the Mushroom Garden (didn’t see any, but plenty of wild ponies!). Return home same day.
Great trip and a good camp site recce for the future.
